Gatherside
A one-person shop in Charleston, SC

The best work in town usually has the smallest sign.

Around here, the small shops out-work the big names every day - they just get out-advertised. Gatherside levels that: websites, logos, and community apps that make the best local businesses as easy to find as the corporations they outwork. Everything handmade. Everything yours.

Websites & logos for local businesses

A website and a logo, done right, yours outright.

One page that tells a stranger who you are, what you do, and how to reach you - with a logo made for your business, not pulled off a shelf. Built around your answers, reviewed with you, finished when you say it's right.

The whole thing $750 Website and logo One page built around your business, and a logo made for it. Need only one? The site on its own is $600, the logo on its own $250.
First 30 days: fixes are free A typo, a photo swap, new hours the week you launch - text me and it's handled. No charge, no forms.
After that - $49/month, optional You text me when something changes and it's done. Cancel whenever and lose nothing. Plenty of sites don't need it, and I'll say so.
You own every piece of it The domain, the hosting, the files - all in your name from day one. Change builders, hand it to your nephew, nothing breaks.
Two rounds of changes included See the draft, tell me what's off, I fix it - twice, free. After that it's a small flat fee we agree on first.
Built from your answers A short set of questions up front - your services, your area, your photos - so the site sounds like you, not like a template.

The honest part. If a free site-builder would serve you fine, I'll tell you that and you'll keep your $750. An honest no-sale beats a bad fit - that's how I'd want to be treated, so it's how I work.

Want to see something I've built? Two things I made start to finish, plus exactly how you'll see your own page before any money changes hands.

Why Gatherside exists

Bigger corporations don't win on quality. They win on advertising.

They out-advertise every small shop in town, so they get the call first, even when the work is worse. Gatherside closes that gap: the people doing the best work should be the easiest ones to find.

CommunityHub - one easy app for your neighborhood.

Booking, requests, notices, and a private neighbor feed for HOAs, apartments, and neighborhoods - all in one place that takes seconds to check.

Meet the founder

Hey - I'm Jack.

One person in Charleston, building websites and apps for the businesses and neighborhoods around here. I'm a Clemson student and an Eagle Scout, and I do the work myself.

I started this because I think places work better when people know each other. A good website helps a stranger trust a local business. A good neighborhood app helps the quiet neighbor get invited to the cookout. Different tools - same idea.

When I'm not building, I'm outside: on the water, in the woods, occasionally underground. If you book a call, this is who picks up.

Building something local? Let's talk.

Fifteen minutes, no pitch - I'll hear what you're working on and tell you honestly whether I can help.
